About Me

Hi, I'm Courtney Graham.

I'm an author, educator, Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), psychology student, curriculum developer, and wellness coach with a passion for understanding people and helping them thrive. My work brings together psychology, education, child development, neurodiversity, faith, and wellness to create meaningful resources that support children, families, educators, and helping professionals.

I believe that every person has inherent worth and a unique story. By combining evidence-informed practices with compassion and faith, my goal is to help others better understand themselves, build meaningful relationships, and reach their full potential.

Education & Professional Goals

I'm currently completing my Bachelor of Science in Psychology while working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

My next goal is to earn a Master's degree in Early Childhood Special Education with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as I work toward becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

I'm passionate about bringing together research, education, behavior analysis, and developmental science to create practical, compassionate solutions that improve the lives of children and families.

My Journey

My passion for this work is both professional and deeply personal.

Working in early childhood education and behavior analysis has shown me the incredible impact that individualized, compassionate support can have on a child's life. Through these experiences, I've developed a deep appreciation for inclusive education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and creating environments where every child can succeed.

My own life has also shaped my perspective. Being diagnosed with autism and ADHD later in life gave me a new understanding of many experiences I had growing up. It helped me recognize the importance of understanding the whole person—not just behaviors or labels, but each individual's strengths, challenges, relationships, and experiences. That perspective continues to guide everything I create.

My Work

Everything I create is connected by one purpose: helping people better understand the whole person.

Author

I write both fiction and nonfiction that explore identity, growth, psychology, faith, and what it means to be human.

My books include:
Returning Home — a verse novel exploring identity, belonging, healing, and the journey back to oneself.
The Whole Story (forthcoming) — a nonfiction book examining psychology, neurodiversity, education, wellness, and faith through the lens of whole-person understanding.

Educator & Curriculum Developer

I develop inclusive, evidence-informed curriculum that supports children's academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and spiritual development.

My goal is to create engaging learning experiences that prepare children for lifelong success while honoring each child's unique strengths and needs.

Psychology & Behavior Analysis

I'm passionate about translating research into practical strategies that help children, families, educators, and professionals better understand development, learning, communication, and behavior.

As I continue my education toward becoming a BCBA, I hope to contribute to a more compassionate and collaborative approach to supporting children and their families.

Wellness & Personal Growth

Through Hands on Healing, I encourage whole-person wellness by integrating evidence-informed practices, self-reflection, and faith into everyday life.

My Mission

My mission is to advance the understanding of the whole person by integrating psychology, education, neuroscience, faith, and lived experience into books, research, educational resources, and programs that help children, families, educators, and communities flourish.

Beyond My Work

When I'm not writing or developing curriculum, you'll usually find me reading psychology and child development books, researching new ideas, enjoying nature, spending time with my family, or working on my next creative project.

I'm a lifelong learner who believes curiosity, compassion, and meaningful relationships are at the heart of personal growth.

Let's Connect

Whether you're a parent, educator, student, helping professional, fellow lifelong learner, or someone simply looking to better understand yourself or others, I'm glad you're here.

I hope this website becomes a place where you find encouragement, practical resources, thoughtful conversations, and inspiration to keep learning, growing, and embracing the whole person.
